My background
Originally a software developer in finance for many years, my soul was calling me in a different direction...
In 2007, I had everything that society told me I should have and yet I didn't feel fulfilled. I had an amazing boyfriend, we lived together, owned our house, owned cars, had good jobs, went on holidays and we even had 2 kids (his) who adored me and were like my own children. Yet, in the evenings, I would often feel tearful, isolated and drowning in a never-ending to-do list.
I started to see a counsellor and she helped me realise I'd lived my whole life for other people... I actually had no idea who I was or what I wanted! This was the start of my journey of self-discovery: a journey of removing all the layers of conditioning I had picked up from society and starting the exciting and beautiful discovery of who Natalie Ford really was!
This fascinating path has been unfolding since 2007 and with a much greater intensity since 2013, when I really started to try to like... and eventually love... myself.
In August 2017, I left software development and finance and embarked on a new career putting together the vast amount of self-development I'd gathered over the last 10 years.
In January 2018 I founded Empowered Healing Ltd and began working as Authenticity & Empowerment guide. In August 2018, after 3.5 months of study and practice, I graduated from the ISTA-PT training course that helped me build the skills I now use in my one-to-one sessions.

- Oct 2016 - Jan 2018: completed three ISTA Level 1 (Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Experience) trainings with International School of Temple Arts
- Apr 2018 - Aug 2018: graduated ISTA PT (somatic sexual practitioner training) with International School of Temple Arts
- May 2018: completed ISTA Level 2 (Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Initiation) training 2018 with International School of Temple Arts
- Jul - Oct 2018: Assisting and learning from some amazing facilitators of Shamanic, Sexual, Spiritual and Earth modalities
